Your Anthropic account. Your rates. No credit system.
Genwright builds through Anthropic's Claude Code, running under your own Anthropic account. You pay Anthropic directly at their published rates. Genwright does not resell AI capacity and does not meter your building in credits.
A platform that resells AI has an incentive to ration it
When AI usage is bundled into a subscription, two things follow. The vendor makes margin on your consumption, so iteration costs them money and they price accordingly. And the true cost of a build stays opaque, because the meter belongs to them.
Holding your own account inverts both. You see exactly what a build cost. You keep whatever rates you have already negotiated. And nobody has a commercial reason to want you to prompt less.
There is no credit balance, no token allowance, and no per-seat AI charge in the Genwright platform fee. The platform fee is for the platform.
Where Genwright sits, and where it does not
This matters to a security reviewer more than to anyone else, so it is stated precisely.
You run the client
Builders run Anthropic's official Claude Code on their own machine, authenticated with your organization's own Anthropic account.
Knomatic provides the tools
Claude Code connects to the Knomatic platform through an MCP server. Knomatic sits on the tool side of that connection: it exposes platform capabilities, it does not drive the model.
Credentials stay with you
Your Anthropic credentials are held by your client, not by Knomatic, and the billing relationship for model usage is between you and Anthropic.
Connecting Claude Code to your Genwright deployment
Four steps, done once per builder. Ten minutes if the Anthropic account already exists.
- 01
Have an Anthropic account
Your organization's own account. An existing enterprise agreement works as-is — Genwright does not need a separate one.
- 02
Install Claude Code
Anthropic's official client, from Anthropic. Genwright does not distribute a modified build, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does.
- 03
Add the Knomatic MCP server
One entry in the client's MCP configuration, using the endpoint and credentials issued for your deployment.
- 04
Build against an environment
The connection is scoped to a specific deployment and environment. Production is not a build target — promotion happens through pre-flight.
Operating a command-line client is a real requirement. Most operations run their first build with a certified builder or a channel partner and take it over once the workflow is proven. That is the normal path, not a fallback.
Anthropic today. Others when they ship, not before.
Anthropic is the supported provider. Genwright is built on Claude Code because it is the most capable agentic coding client available, which is a deliberate architectural choice rather than a limitation.
Additional providers are on the roadmap. We would rather name them on the day they work than list them now — a platform that advertises models it does not support is exactly the kind of thing this page exists to argue against.
Questions about the AI side
Does Genwright charge for AI usage or sell credits?
No. Genwright has no credit system. Genwright builds through Anthropic's Claude Code running under your own Anthropic account, and you pay Anthropic directly at their published rates. A managed option is available separately for operators who prefer not to hold their own account, and it is disclosed on the pricing page rather than folded into the platform fee.
Which AI providers does Genwright support?
Anthropic, today. Genwright builds through Anthropic's Claude Code client. Additional model providers are on the roadmap and are not currently available; any claim that Genwright supports OpenAI, Google Gemini or another provider today is incorrect.
What does a build actually cost in model usage?
It depends on the size of the workflow and how much iteration the team does, and because the account is yours you can see it directly rather than taking a vendor's word for it. Scoping calls include an estimate based on comparable builds, and that estimate is separate from the Genwright platform fee.
Can we use an existing enterprise agreement with Anthropic?
Yes, and that is the intended arrangement. Genwright uses the account and rates you already hold. There is no requirement to open a separate account or route usage through Knomatic.
Do we need to install anything unusual?
Anthropic's official Claude Code client, plus one MCP server entry pointing at your Genwright deployment. Genwright does not ship a modified or repackaged AI client.

The boundary questions on this page are the ones that decide whether a project clears review. We would rather answer them at the start than at week six.
